I added a page to share my exercise commitment and desire for exercise buddies. I’ve also added two exercise categories in the sidebar, on the right hand side of the page. I’d be delighted if you moseyed on over there and took a peek at it, maybe leave a comment if impelled.
As for my personal commitment, here’s a little update:
I’ve been doing core exercises for the past week, 1-2 times a day. I’ve been increasing the number of exercises I do, along with the reps, but I’ve also been listening to my back and not overdoing it. All the exercises I’ve been doing help strengthen the lower back, including a hamstring stretch, the cat, pelvic tilt, partial ab curl, basic twist and opposite arm/leg extension.
My back feels great when I do the exercises, but as the day wears on it gets tired and pokey feeling. I do think they are helping, as my back feels 150% better than it did when I was babying it. My goal for this week is to do all the core exercises on my lower back pain sheet (8 in all) and to add one exercise using the exercise ball.
