Let’s Yak About Art: Art Every Day month

Now that we’ve reached the 5th of November, Art Every Day (AED) month is in full swing. Leah, over at Creative Every Day,is posting her art creations on her blog. She also has a list of AED participants in the sidebar on the left. My favorite so far is the Alice in Wonderland collage. It includes collage material and acrylic paint on watercolor paper. I like the little details Leah included in the collage, the fanciful swirls in the tree trunk and Alice’s face. She looks a bit jaded, which is different than most artistic renditions of Alice.

Michele, over at a big victory, is using photography for her art medium as an AED participant. You can see her photos here. I love her musical photo theme for the month.

A visitor to Yak Attack today, Nat Dickinson, is participating in NaBloPoMo 2007 by posting art every day. Check out Nat’s dog paintings. Very cool! The vibrant colors and detailed focus make the paintings pop.
