Over at Wolfesblog, Claire recently posted an entry about an AP article that showed evidence that Verichip’s chip is connected to cancers. Kathrine Albrect, co-author of Spychips, did the leg work for the compiled data and got it into the right hands at the AP.
This news story is traveling like wildfire. It was even referenced this week in a printing trade e-newsletter we receive at the shop. I’ve always been vehemently against chipping both humans and animals. I hope the health risks wake people up and spur on discussions about the invasion of privacy issues and tracking possibilities chipping creates.
